Hurley at Founders' Day ceremony. Article contains photo of honorary degree recipients at ceremony, which included: Eugene Constantin Jr., Robert C. Hill, Bishop Thomas K. Gorman, Gen. Patrick J. Hurley, and Edward R. Maher. Gen. Douglas MacArthur accepted his degree in absentia. Dr. Robert Morris conferred honorary degrees.
